We have just finished 3 months ( meeting on the 1st and 3rd
Saturdays) of Freedom Kids. Our focus has been on the Kingdom of God
and how we have access to be a part of God's Kingdom through what
Jesus did on the cross, and now that we are a part of God's family
then we have a Royal Mission and that is to "Bring Heaven to Earth" We
just finished up our last meeting time for the summer with reviewing 4
Scripture verses by playing water games. Hopefully you can ask most
of the kids to recite Matthew 6:13, 1 John 3:1, Romans 5:8, and
Matthew 6:10, and they will be able to do it.( you may have to give
them the first few words ) We will be starting FK back up in September but until then....
Friday, July 27th we will be having a Pool Party for all of VHC from 7 - 9pm. No admission fee but we will give you a chance to donate to help with the cost to reserve the pool:) So mark your calendars and plan to have a great time with your church family.
We have our 3rd Mega Sports/Art Camp coming July 30th- August 3. It will be held at Wood County Christian School from 6 to 9 each evening. There is a pre-registration date Sunday July15th. Cost will be $10 per child with a maximum of $25 per family. After July 15th the cost will be $15 per child with a maximum of $35 per family. More information to come.
